Can You Sing?
Have you sung in a choir?
Would you like to sing in a choir?
We are always on the lookout for new singers of every voice: bass, tenor, alto and soprano. We have a skilled choir leader who takes us through the music and a piano accompanist. Music is provided.
We rehearse on Tuesdays from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at St Paul’s Church, Withington, during term times, with a concert at the end of each term. There are no auditions and we welcome singers of all abilities who want to sing classical music. Existing choir members are happy to help new members. Just come along on a Tuesday evening and try us out. Choir fees are only payable if you decide to stay.
If you want more information then contact us at philchoirman@gmail.com or use the form below.
Our Next Performance page shows what we’re working on now. We make sure that everyone has a copy of the music.
Don’t worry if you haven’t sung before and can’t read music. What matters most is your enthusiasm and willingness to have a go at the team effort that is choral singing.
If you would like to give it a try, pop in to one of our Tuesday rehearsals which we list here Concert and rehearsal schedules. We’ll spot you straightaway as a newcomer and welcome you warmly before you’ve even got your coat off! If you would like to talk to someone first contact us at philchoirman@gmail.com.
